Collaboration with Instructors demonstrates the Standard 8 sub-standard below:
- Understands the value of collaborative efforts to create common assessments among content-area teachers and share assessment results with colleagues to collaboratively plan instruction that will best meet individual student needs.
Reflection
Last Spring 2013 semester, I worked with online faculty at El Camino in drafting guidelines for Student Authentication and Regular Effective Contact. The documents were approved by the Academic Senate last June 2013 and have been used by faculty to authenticate online students and initiate instructor-student interaction.
